PaleoWest is looking to hire several archaeology field techs for their Arizona (and possibly Colorado) offices for the summer, with the option to continue beyond then if it works with the candidate’s school schedule. Work will include excavation of Hohokam sites in the greater Phoenix area and large surveys in various parts of Arizona. These would start as on-call positions, but given the amount of work the company has scheduled, the position will effectively be full-time or close to it. The candidate must have completed ASB 222/223 (or an equivalent introductory archaeology course) or at least one upper division archaeology class. A field school or other prior archaeological field experience is preferred but not required.
