Facilities
The School of Human Evolution and Social Change occupies nearly 78,000 square feet, centered around its stunning historic headquarters at 900 Cady Mall, on Arizona State University’s Tempe campus. We are also responsible for a public nature preserve, museum and archaeological site at the Deer Valley Petroglyph Preserve, and oversee field sites around the globe, including the only U.S. university research lab at Teotihuacan, Mexico.

The School of Human Evolution and Social Change is located on the ASU Tempe campus at the northwest corner of Cady Mall and Tyler Mall. Our faculty also have offices in nearby Matthews Center, Matthews Hall, Social Sciences Building, Life Sciences Center, West Hall and Hayden Library.

Directions
Light rail service to campus is available. Exit at the University/Rural station, then follow Tyler Mall west.
From Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport: Take Loop 202 East to Scottsdale/Rural Road (Exit 7). Turn right onto Rural Road. Drive south and turn right onto University Drive.
From West Valley: Take I-10 East toward Tucson. Exit onto Loop 202 East toward Tempe. Take Exit 7 for Scottsdale/Rural Road and turn right. Turn right onto University Drive.
From Northeast Valley: Take Scottsdale Road South toward Tempe. Turn right onto University Drive.
From Southeast Valley: Take Highway 60 West into Tempe. Take Exit 173 at Mill Avenue and turn right. Continue north on Mill Avenue, then turn right onto University Drive.
The nearest parking is in the Fulton Center Parking Garage. Please check signs for daily and hourly rates.
