ASU’s financial integrity depends on financial reporting and monitoring controls.  As part of ASU’s annual financial audit process, there are certain policies we must share to ensure we all remain informed.  Below are brief details about each policy as well as other informational links for further examination.

  1. Unit staff with fiscal responsibilities should be aware of FIN 129: Ensuring Financial Integrity and the Code of Conduct for State of Arizona Employees Engaged in Accounting, Financial and Budgeting Activities.
  2. To report financial issues, errors, or fraud, please contact Misa Pham, Associate Director, Operations and/or Financial Services, ASU Police, Office of General Counsel, University Audit and Advisory Services, or the Campus Safety and Compliance Hotline (1-877-SUNDEVL – callers can remain anonymous).
  3. All commitments of University resources must be made in compliance with PUR 201-02: Purchase Order.
    • No contracts should be signed by college/unit representatives outside of the contract authority prescribed in PUR 107: Contract Authority.
    • No one in our School has contract-signing authority.  By signing a contract, even if doing so in the act of conducting regular School-related business, you are potentially making yourself personally financially liable.
  4. All employees should be aware of the various Conflict of Interest policies and related disclosure and disqualification requirements below.
  5. All employees, students, and affiliates should be aware of the acceptable use of ASU computing and communication resources per ACD 125.
  6. All individuals working for or on behalf of ASU should be aware of the requirements related to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act as defined in FIN 401-05.
