Assessment of DNA Methylation Patterns in Primate Skeletal Tissues

Sifaka skeleton

This study will identify the degree to which variation in epigenetic patterns relates to variation in skeletal features within and among primates.

This study will identify the degree to which variation in epigenetic patterns relates to variation in skeletal features within and among primates.  Findings will reveal how skeletal DNA methylation patterns vary across primates and relate to skeletal traits, and they will inform our understanding of epigenetic regulation and complex trait evolution in primates.
