Taylor Woods coordinates communication and marketing for the School of Human Evolution and Social Change, including writing articles and managing social media accounts.
Woods previously served as marketing manager at the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. There, she wrote and distributed press releases, managed the museum’s website and social media accounts, oversaw graphic designers and digital agencies, and served as production coordinator for the museum’s annual Call of the Wild magazine. Her prior roles include assistant editor for student publications at the University of Wyoming and teaching assistant the photography lab. She is a past president of University of Wyoming’s Communication Honors Society, Lambda Pi Eta.
Woods enjoys research and the scientific method. Her Undergraduate Thesis Project was a communication audit of Curt Gowdy State Park, assessing the availability of “Leave No Trace” information to park visitors.
