I am currently a PhD Sociocultural Anthropology student in the School of Human Evolution and Social Change. I am currently researching the experience of trans women living in Spain to help create policies and academic work that can enhance the lives of trans women. I hold an M.A. in Visual Anthropology from the University of Southern California where I completed a 30 minute ethnographic film on trans Latina immigrant women’s identity, transnationally. I hold a B.A in Spanish with honors, B.A in Anthropology with honors, a minor in political science, and certificates in Latin American and International Studies, from Arizona State University.
