Julie Lawrence is a postdoctoral research associate in the Institute of Human Origins at ASU. She obtained her PhD in biological anthropology at the University of Cambridge.
Her research focuses on craniofacial variation in the early hominin fossil record and the simultaneous use of linear and geometric morphometric methods to study morphological diversity. She also has research interests in the History of Paleoanthropology, and has undertaken field and laboratory research in France, England, Kenya, and South Africa.
