Biography

Amy Peterson is a graduate student in the Evolutionary Anthropology approach within the School of Human Evolution and Social Change.

She also works as a graduate research assistant with the Institute of Human Origins on public outreach endeavors - including designing curriculum. One of those outreach endeavors is developing content, activities, and podcasts for the K-12 outreach website, Ask An Anthropologist. Peterson's knowledge of natural sciences curriculum and her ability to communicate science to the general public make her an excellent fit for this position.

Her research interests include paleoanthropology, functional morphology, and the evolution of the pelvis in early hominins.
