The museum grounds of the Deer Valley Rock Art Center contains about 1,500 prehistoric petroglyphs native to the Arizona desert. The center provides museum training to students and collections and bibliographic references for research.
The mission of the Deer Valley Rock Art Center is to preserve and to provide public access to the Hedgpeth Hills petroglyph site, to interpret the cultural expressions found here, and to be a center for rock art studies. Learn more...
