Project examines urban residents' vulnerability to heat

Congratulations to Sharon Harlan and team for their $1.4 million National Science Foundation collaborative grant with the University of California, Riverside! Their project—which studies inner-city residents' vulnerability to heat—is one of only 10 selected nationwide for funding through the NSF's Dynamics of Coupled Natural and Human Systems Program.
